Ju Hong brings more than 15 years of work across immigrant rights, higher education, labor, government, and community organizing.
His work has included building national fellowship programs, leading public policy campaigns, securing institutional investment, and creating spaces where immigrant youth and directly impacted leaders can shape the decisions that affect their lives.
About Ju
A strategist, facilitator, and storyteller rooted in immigrant justice.
Ju Hong (he/him/his) is the Director of the UCLA Dream Resource Center, a UCLA Labor Center program that empowers immigrant youth and allies to lead social justice movements. A 2011 Dream Summer fellow, he brings more than a decade of experience in immigrant-rights organizing, policy advocacy, and leadership development.
Ju has organized communities, shared his immigrant story at conferences and universities, and contributed to national conversations on immigration. He previously served as a Governmental Program Analyst at the California Department of Social Services, overseeing a $45 million immigration-services budget that supported more than 100 community organizations statewide.
His approach brings together the practical discipline of program development with the urgency and imagination of movement building.
